Standing water was still on the field Monday morning, Sept. 15, so the game has been postponed until Sept. 22.
Tell everyone you know to come and to bring non-perishable food items for our food drive.
All players on the night game roster should be at Modern Woodmen Park by 5:30 p.m. Thank you for your patience.

Lets hope the weather for next week is wrong because they are currently predicting rain for next Monday as well.

I've never, in my life, seen a 10-day forecast roll out as planned. That's not to say it won't rain, but take it with a grain of salt until at least Friday.

Nice!
Brandon Jones is the one man off the roster right now. He was unable to get off work last Monday, leaving us with one less guy. I've contacted him to see if he can make it this time, but have not yet received a response.
I think the most fair thing to do is go with one fewer player since there are 7 guys in line next, and it would be difficult to choose.
How are all of our preparations coming concession wise? Turns out we have 120 hot dogs. I'm figuring it'd be fair to offer a free hot dog to our pro-bono workers: i.e. umpires, concession and greeting staff, national anthem singer and PA announcer.
That's like 7 hot dogs. Any beef? Or is that fair?

Is that all we have on drinks? I think we'll need quite a bit more than that.
Kiel and Barton, send me a list of what you have and let's be sure to delegate some stuff out for other players to bring.
I'm getting pretty pumped (stressed and nervous). This is going to be pretty awesome.

In the past I've brought 4-12 packs and a 24 pack of water. Both times that left some over for players after the game. That seems like a good amount although this year's game might be a bit bigger.

Here's what we've got for food...
120 "huge" hot dogs -- Veto 120 hot buns -- Kiel Condiments -- Kiel & Veto 2 - 12-packs pop (1 Sierra Mist & 1 Diet Pepsi) -- Barton 2 - 24-packs pop (1 Mountain Dew & 1 Cherry Pepsi) -- JP 3 cases of water -- JP, Barton, & Zier Desserts (cookies, brownies, Rice Krispy treats) -- Veto, JP 2 coolers -- Barton Ice -- Jesus Aluminum foil -- Keil & Veto
Does that pretty much cover everything??? That's 120 dogs + 144 drinks. Do we want to sell chips also, or would that be too much trouble? If so, does anyone want to volunteer to bring chips? Basically, the stuff we don't eat/drink will go to Veto's for the post-game shindig.
