Just putting it out there........First or second in all but one category (plus the first player besides Super Bob to get the IBB this year). Sounds like an MVP to me.

Uh, oh... we all know that award campaigning doesn't always work out well!

i dont know, i gotta admit, i know a person that is just on fire, hes hard to get out at the plate, and hes very consistent, as well as a gold glove at first base, i would vote for him as ROY

All I know is that it worked for Elle for about 15 straight years for the Gold Glove....So I figured I'd give it a try. Can you blame me?

You keep that .600 average up and I'm pretty sure you'll be fine! Then again, there's that guy hitting .792! Of course, you'd better tell him, Bart, that he's got to keep coming to games. You have to play at least half the number of games the games played leader has played in. Right now it's 9 and he's played in 4. When it goes to 10, it goes to 5.

What about "Mr. Clutch" himself Brett Carlson?? It was rumored he retired from The VLB because he "couldn't hit home runs and make himself feel good anymore" Is he playing or in the MVP race??

Is there some sort of criteria for "rookie" status? I just ask, because out of the major ROY contenders, I believe Adam Hernandez is the only one who hasn't played before this year (I might be wrong).
I gotta tell ya though, Joey C is unstoppable. Not to mention the fact that when he was barreling towards me when I was covering home plate, I shat myself slightly.

Fewer than 10 games played before this season will qualify you as a rookie.

oh he will be there veto, he loves the game, we grew up together loving the game never playing in high school but we played little league together what a great time, and what a consistent hitter he was then, things havent changed although, for me my 10 year old year my only contact was foul balls couldnt even put the ball in play wow did i suck:) but dont worry he will be there when he can as will nunn, I DO have to admit though kiel is playing extremely well, and watch out J.P is right up there as is veto still too early in the season to tell......

Personally, I think it's scandalous that I'm not the 3-time VLB MVP. I've finished second in the voting twice (got robbed both times, sorry JP ;D) and I've won once. Besides, who else can bump Bobbo from the number one pick?

Good Luck Kiel. I'll probably vote for myself, maybe I'll be able to screw you out of MVP this year since you screwed me out of it a few years ago ;D (My fielding is fine...unless I'm playing for the other team, but if you're on my team I do what I can to limit your stats...particularly doubles.)
Is it true that Barton hit that sheddy thing left handed, in the air? That's pretty impressive, that alone should get some votes.

It was close, but his ball actually one hopped the shed . And as far as the doubles go, you can try to limit them all you like, but with my blazing speed, doubles and triples are inevitable. But since we are all talking a little smack now, how about we come up with a dark horse candidate for the MVP. I'd say Joe Campagna and Veto would be the front runners for that. Bobbo, I also think that the VLB as a whole takes superstars like you, me, and Barton for granted. The league tends to cater to the newbies to try to increase participation. But like Colin Cowherd says, "superstars drive the league." Without us creating some controversy, it wouldn't be as fun. Hence, I enjoy running my mouth.

As reigning MVP, I suggest you try being a little more humble. You had my vote until you couldnt stop talking yourself up.
